The Central Bank has asked banks and financial institutions operating in the country to search for any accounts belonging to the founder of NMBR Shetty and members of his family and to freeze them together with the accounts of the companies in which he owns shares.

This is according to the news published by the Gulf News newspaper, in which he also clarified that the Central Bank also included several companies linked to Chitti in the blacklist along with all its senior management.

It is noteworthy that Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank filed a lawsuit earlier this month in which it initiated criminal complaint procedures before the Public Ministry in Abu Dhabi against several people who are related to the “NMC” health care group in the context of bank loans exceeding 4 billion dirhams related to the bank.

And the disclosures to 11 banks and other local destinations revealed the existence of loans to the group of nearly 6 billion dirhams at a time when the total debts of more than 75 local and international organizations amount to 6.6 billion dollars, or almost 24.2 billion dirhams.
