The Cairo Tower celebrated the launch of the Hope probe in the United Arab Emirates into space, where it was colored red and the Hope probe was written.
The United Arab Emirates became the first Arab country and the fifth overall to put a spacecraft into orbit around Mars.
President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi said he proudly followed the arrival of the “probe of hope” to Mars, which is an unprecedented step in the field of scientific research, heralding a scientific renaissance in the Arab region.
The president added, through his official account on the website “Facebook” today Tuesday: “Greetings to the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates brothers and to all their geniuses who planned and designed this experiment in an attempt to create a new reality despite all the extreme challenges today. “
He continued: “The experience will not be the end of the day in exploring new horizons in our great world. The Arab mind is an ambition that knows the impossible.”
The “Hope probe” launched by the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday night reached Mars; This would be the first Arab mission to achieve this achievement, after a 7-month journey that covered a distance of 494 million kilometers.
