The girl’s father added, in statements to the media, that the accused did not touch his daughter, but committed a scandalous act against her in front of her, scratching her modesty while riding the minibus on her way home.

Dr. Othman Shaalan, Rector of Zagazig University, confirmed that the accused doctor is a recent graduate, and a doctor has resided at Zagazig University Hospital for almost 5 months, and that upon learning of the incident and asking his colleagues and friends, confirmed that he is distinguished and of good manners, noting that a lawyer has been assigned to attend the investigations, and that the incident is under investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and emphasizes that the university will carry out investigations into the incident and take the appropriate measures once the prosecution’s investigations are completed.
