Yesterday Friday, the artistic community of Egypt said goodbye to four of their children who were absent from death and left our world.

Mahmoud Abdel Ghaffar

The start was early Friday morning; As the artist Azouz Adel, member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Theatrical Professions, announced the death of the artist Mahmoud Abdel Ghaffar, through his personal account on the site “Facebook”.

The Union mourned the death, on its official page on the same site, and the funeral prayer was held there after Friday prayer at the Al-Sabah mosque in the Haram area.

Mahmoud Abdel Ghaffar began his artistic career in the eighties, playing supporting roles as assistant in film, theater and television, and among the films in which he participated: “Roots in the air, The forgotten, The player, Look at peace” and others.

While the series participated in: “Tears in the eyes of the shameless, stories of him and her, Harun al-Rashid, no one sleeps in Alexandria” and others.

The year 2016 saw the last work in which the artist Mahmoud Abdel Ghaffar participated, where he played the role of “Fakhrani” in the third part of the series “Salsal Al Dam”.

Muhammad al-Sagheer

On Friday morning, artist Ahmed El-Sakka announced the death of famous hairdresser Mohamed Al-Sagheer, father of his wife, broadcaster Maha Al-Saghir.

Al-Sakka posted Al-Saghir’s photo through his account on the “Instagram” website, commenting: “By the mercy of God, my father and my father, dear Mr. Muhammad Al-Sagheer, passed away. Please pray for him. “

The funeral prayer was held for the deceased on Friday afternoon, at the Sultan Hussein Mosque on Salah Salem Road.

Al-Saghir is the most famous hairdresser who has cared for the top stars of Egypt and the Arab world, and days before his departure, he suffered a Coronavirus infection, and was transferred to intensive care, where he spent his last days.

Ashraf saleh

While the artist Munir Makram, member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Theatrical Professions, announced on Friday at noon the death of the artist Ashraf Saleh, through his personal account on the site “Facebook”.

Munir wrote, commenting on an image he posted of the deceased: “Always God is Ashraf Saleh.”

Ashraf Saleh’s body was buried in the Nasser Mosque on Aziz Ezzat’s land in the Imbaba area after Friday prayers.

Among the most outstanding works in which Saleh participated are the series: “Salsal Al Dam, Abu Al Arousa, Al Jama’a and Rub ‘Roumi” and others.

Fahmy El-Khouly

While the artist Azouz Adel, member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Theatrical Professions, announced the death of director Fahmy El-Khouli, on Friday night.

Adel wrote, through his account on the site “Facebook”: “The Union of Theatrical Professions mourns the death of the great director Fahmi Al-Khouli. Oh God, have mercy on him and grant him paradise.”

Fahmi El-Khouli is a director and actor who graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art in 1971, and performed in some theatrical works at the State Theater, directed many works for the artistic house of the theater and for the private sector, and became I am in charge of the direction of the modern theater and then the theater of tomorrow in addition to its supervision of the Sub 18 company of the Technical House of Popular and Critical Arts.
