The Cairo security services managed to arrest the defendant, and it was found that he disappeared in one of the apartments, trying to hide, and was arrested and notified to the prosecutor, who initiated the investigation.

The Interior Ministry published a photo of the defendant during his arrest in one of the Maadi apartments, and security sources said that the defendant’s arrest followed his attempted escape and hiding in one of the apartments.

And the discoverer of the incident had posted the video on his account on the social network site “Facebook”, and thousands of activists interacted with him and shared with him, demanding the prompt arrest of the accused, whose facial features were clearly visible in front . from the surveillance camera of an analysis laboratory on the same premises where the crime was committed. The dissemination of the video was monitored by the security surveillance services.

The investigations reported that the surveillance camera installed in an analysis laboratory revealed the entry of the accused and the child victim, and the commission of the crime, before they came out discovering the fact, and confronted him with what he had done, with in order to escape.

A team from the Cairo South Accident Prosecutor’s Office initiated the investigations, after the accused was arrested, and as soon as she received a report from the Children’s Help Line, the Prosecutor’s Office assigned the concerned authorities to find the girl , which turned out to be a handkerchief seller.
