The board of directors of the Egyptian Olympic Committee met last Sunday to consider the result of the investigation into the complaints presented by the president of the Al-Ahly club, the former president of the Zamalek club, the deputy and members of the board of the Zamalek club, the Egyptian Football Association and the head of the main referee committee of the Egyptian Federation. The Board of Directors of the Olympic Committee notified the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the sanctions imposed against Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, based on the investigations carried out by the investigation committee following the complaints presented by the Al-Ahly Club, the Association of Football, Handball Federation, Hani Al-Attal, Vice President of Zamalek, and Abdullah George, Member of the Board of Directors of Zamalek and Mamdou Abbas, former President of Zamalek club.
The Board of Directors of the Olympic Committee asked the Ministry of Youth and Sports to work on the application of sanctions in accordance with the text of Article 84 of the Egyptian Constitution and the provisions of Sports Law No. 71 of 2017, which provides for the application of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the implementation of the law, the Olympic Charter and the regulations of the Olympic Committee to implement the sanctions issued after the investigations carried out when raising the name. Mortada Mansour of the signatures approved by the banks and replacing them with the name of the Vice President of the Board of Directors and not receiving letters to the Zamalek Club with his signature and not in the case of the aforementioned person or his capacity in any matter of club affairs with the Ministry of Sports.
The Board of the Olympic Committee had issued sanctions against Murtaza Mansour that stipulated:

Mortada Ahmed Mohamed Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zamalek Sports Club, stopped practicing any sporting activity in Egypt for a period of four years (4 years) and was fined one hundred thousand Egyptian pounds only with the consequent effects, in particular, the following:
A – Not approving your representation of the Zamalek Sports Club in front of others and the judiciary regarding the club.
B – Not to assume the presidency of any board or general assembly or of the board of directors of the Zamalek Sports Club while the suspension lasts.
C – Without having their signature in any procedure or correspondence, or anything else, related to the Zamalek Club, especially financial matters or authorization thereof, and the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Zamalek Sports Club and the members of the Board The Board of Directors must convene the first ordinary general assembly that includes a point for the elections of vacant positions, in particular. Seat of the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The decision will take effect from its date and all parties will be notified of the complaints that are the subject of the decision.
And that the central administrative authority and the competent administrative authority will be notified of this decision in order to implement their affairs.
Second:
Inform the Public Ministry of the facts contained in the investigations – which constitute a criminal offense – in order to comply with their affairs in this regard.
Third :
Inform the Supreme Council for Media Regulation to conduct its affairs regarding what is broadcast on the Zamalek satellite channel of words and phrases that violate public decency in violation of the Media Honor Letter.
