Taha Ismail, a former Al-Ahly club star and former head of the planning committee at the Red Castle, criticized his team’s Swiss coach, Rene Weiler.

In an interview with the channel “On Time Sports”, Ismail said: “Fyler has a lot of technical problems. In the Zamalek game, he played in a way that the team did not understand and caused a loss.”

And Taha Ismail added: “Muhammad Hani left without any support at the summit meeting, it was a big mistake, then he repeated the matter by authorizing training in the parties that followed the suspension period.

Ismail continued: “In the 4-4-2 method, there is a big gap in the middle of the Al-Ahly stadium. Fyler sometimes tries to fix it by playing with a central defender while relying on Afsha in front of him.”

The retired Al-Ahly star added: “The two matches of the Moroccan Wydad in the semi-finals of the Champions League do not carry the composition, I am not sure that Fyler will not compose a new formation or a different way of playing.”

Taha Ismail appointed coach Mohamed Youssef to succeed Fyler at this time, thanks to the Swiss manager, adding: “Mohamed Youssef is the best option now, and he will help the stability of the team.”

Ismail finished: “Fyler has no focus at the moment, he wants to leave in early October, and he will put that team in a critical position shortly before I face Wydad, so Youssef must be named now.”
