Shobi Ngadima, director of the Media Center of the South African Sundowns Club, said that the management of his club will issue an official statement to discuss the crisis of the Uruguayan player Gaston Sereno in its entirety.

Reports in the South African press indicated that things had reached a dead end between Sereno and the club’s management (see here).

Shobi added, through Laila Kora’s remarks on Friday, that the club’s management will issue an official statement in time to discuss the player’s crisis with the entire club.

The Sundowns club official declined to comment that what is happening now is due to the Al-Ahly club negotiations, saying: “I will not comment on this point.”

Reports in South Africa highlighted that the next few days will witness the decision of the player’s fate with the club.

Sereno is one of the most important goals for the Al-Ahly club to consolidate ranks during the next transfer period, which is why it has become a necessary requirement on the part of his former coach Pitso Mosimane.

It should be noted that the player missed his team’s matches during the recent period, the last of which was the African Champions League match.
