African; Facilitate negotiation and provide points of view between the three parties.

The Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources affirmed its adherence to the negotiation process under the auspices of the African Union in applying the principle of African solutions to African problems, provided that experts play a more effective role in facilitating the negotiations.

Sudan had announced its refusal to participate in the meeting scheduled for today on the Renaissance Dam file, on the pretext that it had received an invitation to continue direct tripartite negotiations instead of a bilateral meeting with experts from the African Union, as reported “Sky News Arabia”.

For their part, the Ethiopian authorities announced the end of the meeting that was scheduled with Egypt and Sudan, due to Khartoum’s absence from the meeting.
