The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has set a date for the Casablanca derby between the city, Raja and Wydad, as the match was announced for September 24.

The date of the match clashes categorically with the matches of the two Casablanca poles against Egyptian footballers Al-Ahly and Zamalek, as Raja will meet Zamalek on September 25 in Casablanca in the first leg of the Liga de Liga semifinal. Setting the date for the match on September 24 opened the door to speculation that there was a possibility of postponing the date of the two semi-final matches of the African Champions League between the Egyptian and Moroccan teams.

There are 21 games postponed in the Moroccan League due to the Corona virus, as the postponements will start next Tuesday, with two games, between Raja Beni Mellal and the Al-Jadida defense, then Ittihad Tangier and Olympique de Khouribga.

The Royal University decided to suspend the competition of the Moroccan League to accommodate the 21 postponed matches, in order to preserve the principle of equal opportunities between clubs, especially with the accumulation of postponements; Because of the Corona epidemic.

Raja is the leader in the Moroccan League club standings with 45 points from 23 matches, while Wydad is third with 40 points from 21 points.
