The Coptic Orthodox Church has made several new decisions in the context of monitoring the health situation and the spread of the emerging corona virus pandemic, in order to protect its children from the risk of transmission.
The Church said in a statement on Tuesday that in the framework of monitoring the health situation and the spread of the emerging Corona virus, and in order to protect our children from the risk of transmission of the infection, it was decided to act with the following, effective November 1, 2020:

This percentage can be reduced according to the health status of each diocese. This also applies to the following services:
Wreath of prayers and funerals.
Ecclesiastical institutes and educational centers of all levels and forms.
2- Sunday school and meeting services are allowed to continue in the Pope’s pastoral sectors in Cairo and Alexandria by 25%, and let the parents of bishops and bishops assess the situation, each in their diocese, according to the health status of each diocese, either by partial continuation or complete suspension until conditions improve.
3- Stopping all trips, retreats and spiritual days.
4- The fault is limited to a phone call.
5- Stop the third prayers, corridors of mourning and intimate prayer until conditions improve.
