The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has prepared the general principles and control principles for receiving pilgrims from outside the Kingdom, effective November 1.
The Kingdom established the controls, in accordance with the instructions and requirements of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health, as follows:
The age group allowed to perform Umrah from outside the Kingdom from the age of 18 to 50 years.
– Require pilgrims to present a Pcr certificate with a negative result that proves that they are free of infection by the Coronavirus.
Issuance of the analysis from a reliable laboratory in the country of Al-Mu’tamir, a period not exceeding 72 hours from the moment the sample is taken to the time of departure to Saudi Arabia
– Advance reservation at the Two Holy Mosques, prayer at the Great Mosque, visit to the Prophet’s Mosque and prayer at the honorable kindergarten through the “Umrah Us” application.
The need to have confirmed air reservations to go and return for each pilgrim.
Reservation of comprehensive accommodation for subsistence service at the rate of 3 meals during the period of sanitary isolation “at least 3 days”.
Provide a means to transfer the pilgrim from the port to the residence and obtain the pilgrim full insurance.
Provide comprehensive field services to move between campus, housing, and meeqaat, with a guide for each group.
Educate those who wish to perform the Umrah of the precautionary measures that should be applied throughout the pilgrim’s journey.
The importance of verifying the validity of the data and information of the pilgrim’s passport and the date of birth entered in the Umrah system.
– Enter the information previously prepared 24 hours before the arrival date, maximum, with a data accuracy of 100%.
– Enter travel tickets and accommodation data in Mecca and Medina.
Notify pilgrims to take preventive sanitary isolation for a period of 3 days upon arrival in the Kingdom in the hotels where the pilgrims reside.
Divide the pilgrims coming from abroad into groups, with each group at least 50 Umrah artists.
Book unified programs for pilgrims that include all services, in conjunction with the date of your reservation to perform Umrah and visit according to the application of “Umrah”.
– Appoint a guide for each group, and oblige the Saudi agent to continue providing the contracted service packages, including accommodation, transportation and subsistence.
Hajj’s Ministry stated that it will work with the Saudi Arabian Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs on the following:
1- Determine the countries where the pilgrims come from and prepare them periodically according to the classification of preventive measures and requirements of the countries of origin.
2- Approve qualified service providers (hotels and transport companies) in accordance with the controls of this exceptional phase, precautionary requirements and health protocols.
3- Electronic certification from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for contracts concluded between external agents and Saudi Umrah companies with remote work requirements to protect against the risk of the emerging coronavirus.
