Apple plans to fix a vulnerability that, according to a security company, could have exposed more than 500 million iPhones to hack.
This software bug, also found on iPads, was discovered by Zikobs, a company specializing in mobile phone security, while investigating a sophisticated cyber attack on a client in late 2019.
Zook Avraham, CEO of San Francisco-based Zikobs, said he had found evidence that this vulnerability was exploited in at least six electronic attacks.
