The Saudi Arabian Council of Ministers held its meeting on Tuesday, by video communication, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

At the beginning of the session, the Council reviewed the latest developments and preventive and health measures to contain the emerging coronavirus pandemic, in light of relevant reports locally and globally, and was reassured about the cases recorded in the Kingdom and its health conditions, the medical care provided to them, the continued efforts of the relevant authorities, the levels of preparedness and future supervision, Maintain public health, limit the effects of the pandemic at all levels and the contribution of operations from active surveys in various neighborhoods to knowledge of the circles and locations of many cases and their treatment and work to prevent them from spreading.

The Cabinet continued what is offered to citizens who wish to return to the Kingdom in light of the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, and take advantage of all related capabilities for them, and praised the distinguished efforts made by state agencies, formed committees and the work teams that emanated from them to combat the Corona virus pandemic and address the consequences that resulted in it, especially with regard to the health aspect.

The Minister of Information in charge, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, stated that the Cabinet discussed the Kingdom’s claim during its participation in the virtual summit of the member states of the Non-Aligned Movement regarding its commitment to the objectives. and principles of the movement, and unifying efforts against the common threat posed by the spread of the emerging Corona virus, by strengthening Global Response to address its health, economic and social repercussions, and taking urgent global action to combat health epidemics and ensure that its negative effects are addressed.

The Council was subsequently informed of the condemnation of the emergency meeting of the League of Arab States at the level of foreign ministers, of the condemnation of the plans by the Israeli occupation authorities to annex any part of the occupied Palestinian territories , and from what the Kingdom stated during the meeting that the Palestinian problem was and continues to be the central problem of the Arabs and Muslims. And the first for the Kingdom since its founding, and its rejection of any measure, or any form of occupation of the Palestinian territories, and its support for the Palestinian people and support for their options to achieve their hopes and aspirations for establishing an independent state. on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The Cabinet reiterated the Kingdom’s condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist incident that occurred in Sinai, which caused the death and injuries of several men in the Egyptian armed forces, and affirmed its solidarity with Egypt and its side in its war on terror, expressing its condolences and sympathies to the government and people of Egypt and the families of the victims, and the wishes of the wounded. get well very soon.

The Council reviewed the items on its agenda, including the topics in which the Shura Council participated in its study, and the conclusions reached by the Council for Economic and Development Affairs, the Council for Political and Security Affairs, the General Committee of the Council of Ministers and the Council of Experts in the Cabinet.

The Council of Ministers has concluded the following:

Firstly :

The authorization of His Highness, the Minister of Culture, or his representative, to negotiate with the French party a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the cultural field between the Ministry of Culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Culture in the Republic of France, and sign it, and then upload the final signed copy, to complete the formalities.

Secondly:

The Minister of Information, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian News Agency, or his representative, is authorized to negotiate with the Kyrgyz side on a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation and news exchange between the Saudi Arabian News Agency and Kyrgyz News Agency, signing it and then submitting the final signed copy to complete the regular procedures.

Third :

Approval of a memorandum of understanding between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Republic of Djibouti in the field of environment.

Room:

Approval of an agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas in the field of air transport services.

In fifth place:

To authorize the Minister of Transport, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Civil Aviation Authority, or his representative, to sign a draft agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Republic of Mozambique in the field of air transport services, and then upload the final signed copy, to complete the legal procedures.

Sixth:

Adoption of a memorandum of understanding between the General Audit Office (the General Audit Office) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Federal Office of Financial Supervision in the Republic of Iraq for cooperation in the field of accounting, supervision and professional work.

Seventh:

Approve the strategy for developing outdoor advertisements within Saudi cities, as outlined in the decision.

Eighth:

Approval to amend Article (Fourteen) of the Complaints Board, issued by Decree No. (M / 78) dated 9/19/1428 AH, adding the phrase “and the Council of the Prosecutor’s Office”, so that the Article is in the following text: “The Courts of the Complaints Board cannot consider In lawsuits related to the work of sovereignty, or to consider objections to decisions issued by courts, not subject to this system, of judgments within their jurisdiction, or decisions issued by the Supreme Judicial Council, the Administrative Judicial Council and the Public Prosecutor’s Council.

Nineth:

Approval of the continuation of the work of the oversight committee of the national program for the development of arts and crafts, stipulated in paragraph (3) of point (Second) of Cabinet Resolution No. (175) dated 2/6/1433 AH, and the national program for the development of arts and crafts, stipulated in In Article (Second) of the aforementioned Cabinet Resolution, until the Heritage Authority begins its duties and responsibilities related to arts and crafts, from In accordance with what was included in Article (Third) of Cabinet Resolution No. (398) dated 06/10/1441 AH, as agreed upon. The council added a member of the Ministry of Culture to the aforementioned oversight committee.

Approval of promotions for the fourteenth rank, as follows:

– Promotion of Mutlaq bin Mohammed bin Awad Al-Otaibi to the position of (Director General of Civil Status) in the fourteenth rank in the Ministry of Civil Status.

– Abdullah bin Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Zahrani is promoted to the post of (cultural adviser) in position 14 of the Ministry of Information.

– Ing. Ali bin Hassan bin Salem Al Yami is promoted to a position (civil consulting engineer) in position 14 of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.

– Promotion of Adel bin Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Mudaiemegh to the position of (Director General of the Branch of the Ministry in the Tabuk Region) in the fourteenth rank in the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.

– Promotion of Mounia bin Mohammed bin Saleh Al Khelaiwi to a position (general manager of human resources) in the fourteenth position in the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.

– Eng. Saeed bin Jarallah bin Muhammad Al-Ghamdi is promoted to the post of Director General of the Ministry Branch in the Jazan region at position 14 of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
