The Ministry of Health and Population announced the procedures for dealing with citizens within the means of transportation during the implementation of the plan to coexist with the emerging corona virus (Covid-19).

This plan will be implemented in 3 phases: the first: it is the stage of strict procedures to avoid any type of setback, and its implementation begins directly and continues until a decrease in the total number of new cases discovered in two consecutive weeks at the Republic level , and the second stage: the stage of intermediate procedures and begins after The first stage is direct for 28 days, and the third stage, which is the phase of continuous and mitigation procedures, and continues until the issuance of other decisions until The World Health Organization announces that the global risk assessment has dropped to a low level.
Individual precautionary measures within transport include: the need to wear masks on public transport, avoid entry to the subway or trains, except when using a muzzle, and take into account the maximum number of people in each vehicle with the imposition of sufficient space.
And in the case of elevators in stations, the means of prevention and social divergence are followed, and the maximum number of passengers is observed, and in the case of a queue, the specified distance between each individual must be observed.
The Ministry of Health’s plan was aimed at reducing distillation time at metro and train stations, increasing the number of cars and trains on the same line, the presence of vehicles and trains ready to operate in the event of overcrowding, and raising awareness community through stations and security work teams.
It also includes: increasing the number of public buses to reduce waiting times, taking into account peak hours and staff departures, increasing ticket distribution points and wearing masks with the ticket, and encouraging the use of electronic tickets to tickets.
The plan emphasized the need for good ventilation and disinfection, by providing good outlets for knowing the means of transportation, not using air conditioning unless there is a certain type of filter, or being careful to clean the filters periodically, cleaning the ventilation openings and air conditioners with the commitment that the person cleaning the filter wear a high-efficiency mask and not shake the filter. To avoid dust mixing and the need to do it on the ground and away from the work environment and reluctant citizens.
Regarding the prevention of infection transmission, the plan drew attention to the use of effective antiseptics to disinfect vehicles periodically throughout the day, using station disinfectants and different media while using protective supplies, and ensuring the availability of disinfectants. for hands and alcohol in stations and vehicles.
Wearing a muzzle becomes an option in the third stage to coexist with the virus, and is recommended for the elderly and people with chronic diseases.
