President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi ordered the development of training programs for workers in the state administrative apparatus, beginning with the preparation of training programs for senior leaders and ending with the training of young leaders, with the aim of developing human cadres, as well how to update work files. for all government workers, in order to achieve the most efficient use of available human energies.

Ambassador Bassam Radi, spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said that the meeting addressed “the follow-up of the executive charge of the work issues of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.”
The Minister of Planning reviewed the development of economic indicators in Egypt and the world since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, and the economic situation at the global and local level during the next period, as the data showed a strong contraction in growth global economy in 2020, taking into account that the tourism sector was one of the most affected sectors in the world, even in addition to the drop in both foreign direct investment and the growth rates of world trade.
In this context; The measures taken by Egypt contributed to achieving a positive growth rate in fiscal year 2019/2020 of 3.6%, making Egypt one of the very limited countries in the world that was able to achieve a real growth rate during 2020 at the same time. light of the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic. Its growth rate is the highest of most emerging countries, reflecting the Egyptian government’s success in tackling the repercussions of the Corona pandemic in a balanced and robust manner, as well as injecting more government investment by 102 billion pounds in the first half of the 2020/2021 fiscal year.
President El-Sisi ordered to continue with the studies of the implications of the Crown pandemic on economic performance at the local and global level in order to crystallize the expected future scenarios in this context, in order to ensure the continuous improvement of the economic and financial indicators at the national level, as well as to overcome the challenges that may hinder the sustainability of the positive results achieved with the economic reform.
The details of the impact of the Crown crisis in various areas of the country were also reviewed, and the measures taken in this regard by the government to mitigate the impact of the Egyptian economy, especially towards supporting informal employment, by creating a database for them. and provide job opportunities in national projects and public works.
The spokesperson added that the meeting also witnessed a review of the activities of the National Investment Bank and the bank’s administrative and structural development plan, taking into account that it is one of the state’s economic and investment agencies that mobilizes internal financing. for the benefit of implementation. a series of diverse projects to achieve economic and social growth.
