Dr. Hatem Al-Balak, rector of the University of Sinai, said that the university will reveal the whole truth about what circulated on social media, including the news of the death of student Youssef Fayyad, during the last hours, with the Corona virus after being forced to take a muzzle test after refusing to grant permission, through a statement. Students from Sinai University, in one of the student groups on social media, announced the death of Yusef Muhammad, a student at the Faculty of Physiotherapy, as a result of his infection with the new Corona virus.

The students said that the student “Yusef” wrote, “Yusef”, the day before the exam in the batch group, suffering from Corona virus symptoms, and asked about the possibility of postponing his exam to another day and date, and the Students exchanged the conversation through the WhatsApp group between the student and the dean of the university. The dean responded by saying: There are no excuses until you confirm the positive smear of the Corona virus, and she asked him to put on a mask and attend the exam.

While Dr. Hussam Abdel Ghaffar, media spokesman for the Ministry of Higher Education, revealed that the ministry so far does not know anything about the incident of the student Youssef Fayyad and his death after being infected with the Coronavirus and forcing him to attend exams , and it is not possible to trust the information circulating on Facebook.
