Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek, threatened in the early hours of this Thursday morning not to play the final if the date was not changed, saying: “I will not play. The final remains unchanged, and there is no equal opportunity to see who will play the final.

Zamalek asks to postpone the date of the return match between Al-Ahly and Wydad, the semifinal matches, which are scheduled for tomorrow, Friday at the Cairo Stadium, which will be played under the same conditions as their confrontation with Raja (the eve of his match), so as not to violate the principle of equal opportunities, provided that the team gives the white team a chance. Enough to prepare for the final if the other match is not postponed.

Meanwhile, press reports confirmed that CAF does not intend to compromise the date of the final match, which is scheduled to take place on November 6.

The Moroccan team Raja had previously announced that he could not travel to Egypt due to the presence of 8 Corona virus infections in the team’s ranks, and officially requested that the match be postponed before the number of infections rose to 15, according to a statement issued by the Moroccan club today Thursday.

The CAF intervened to discuss the crisis and decided to postpone the match after the two clubs agreed for a period of one week, adding an exceptional clause to allow the incorporation of up to 3 young players to the list of any team if the list contained less. of 20 players.
