Significant decrease in the number of Coronavirus infections .. “Health” announces the daily statement

The Ministry of Health and Population announced that 566 people in recovery from the coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who recover of the virus to 125,171 cases. till the date.

Dr Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 752 new cases were registered that tested positive for the virus laboratory tests, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and Examination procedures performed by the ministry in accordance with World Health Organization guidelines, which point to the death of 54 new cases

Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.

“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Thursday is 159,715 cases, including 125,171 cured cases and 8,801 deaths.

The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the provinces of the Republic, follows the situation of the “emerging corona” virus first hand and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease, and the ministry has also assigned a number of media outlets to receive inquiries from citizens on the emerging coronavirus and infectious diseases. These include the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the application “Egypt Health” available on phones.
