Data from the National Health Commission showed Sunday that China registered 11 new cases of coronavirus on April 25, compared with 12 cases the previous day without registering deaths for the seventh consecutive day.
Of these new cases, six were transmitted locally, five in the northeast border province of Heilongjiang and one in the southeast province of Guangdong, which borders Hong Kong.
The commission’s data showed that the remaining five cases were received from abroad, compared to 11 the day before.
The committee also announced 30 new cases of people without symptoms, slightly more than the 29 cases registered the previous day.
The total number of confirmed cases in China now stands at 82,827, in addition to 4,632 deaths.
