Shata finished: “Africa’s list was based on the ranking of Africa’s best clubs in the past century by points, so why were some clubs not opposed at the time and demanding that they win the title?”
For his part, Hani Zadeh said: “We will go to the International Sports Court to obtain the right of Club Zamalek to win the Horn of Africa Club title.”
As for the Al-Ahly club, he did not comment on Zamalek’s decisions to pursue the century-old title that crowned the Al-Ahly club at the end of the last millennium, and celebrated it more than once and the title adhered to its motto.
