The Arab Contractors maintained their position in the classification for the African participation in the next season, after losing to their guest Enppi, 2-0, in the match that was played today, Thursday, in the 33rd round of the Egyptian We League in the Arab Contractors Stadium.
Arab Contractors’ balance came to a halt at 53 points in fourth place in the leaderboard, but failed to get a point they needed to clear the rankings before facing the last round, which will be against Pyramids.
Enppi raised his score to 48 points in fifth place temporarily, before Smouha, who competes for fourth place with Al Mokawloon, contested his match in the same round, with Egypt to clear tomorrow Friday.
Mohamed Sharif advanced in favor of Enppi in the 6th minute of the match, after he received a ball from the back of the magnet and was very quick and put pressure on the Arab Contractors defender and extracted the ball to hit the net hard.
Enppi got a penalty from Mohamed Sharif, and the oil team player was able to score the second goal for himself and his team in the 28th minute of the match.
Taher Mohamed Taher received a penalty after he sped away and was left alone with the goalkeeper, who blocked him, but the referee waited for the video assistant to make the decision.
Shukri Naguib took the penalty in the 74th minute, after a strong shot over the crossbar, to miss the team’s chance to reduce the gap.
The match referee counted a red card for touching the ball with his hand from outside the penalty area against goalkeeper Mahmoud Abu Al-Saud, but after returning to the video it was revealed that the ball hit the goalkeeper’s face and not the hand .
