Journalist Ahmed Schubert responded to statements by former Al-Ahly star Ramadan, during which he accused Schubert of his lack of credibility in dealing with his departure from Red Castle, and the player’s claim that he was not seeking money as evidence to leave the English Premier League.
Schubert said in “On Time Sports”: Ramadan is a great and talented player, of course, but his return to Al-Ahly was the one that benefited from him to be able to participate in the matches, after he was excluded from the Egyptian team and of the Olympic selection after playing only 4 parties in England.
Schubert denied what Ramadan Sobhi said during his remarks to the media, Amr Adib, about Al-Ahly’s failure to perform his services, saying: “On the contrary, Al-Ahly paid 2.4 million pounds to lend you in two years, and he participated in all the games and did not achieve the African title with the team, then he got injured and played 6 games. Only this season and he continued for a year without touching the ball, but Al-Ahly stuck to his services.
Schubert continued his denial of the hadith of Ramadan, saying: “Al-Ahly negotiated Ramadan a long time ago, and in light of the Corlauna crisis in March and not in July, as the player said.”
He explained: “I asked Ramadan Subhi about the possibility of joining the Pyramids some time ago, and his answer was (I will not leave England and go to play for a club called Al Assiouti).”
Schubert highlighted his seriousness and precision in handling all the news, noting that Ramadan Sobhi fulfilled his promise to Al-Ahly to sign and surprised everyone in the last moments with the player’s desire to join the ranks of Pyramids, after for Mahmoud Al-Khatib to welcome him into his home and the Red Club to close its deal with Huddersfield, England.
He continued: “Ramadan, who said:” My heart was cut when Al-Ahly lost Al-Taraji and decided to return the club. It is your heart with the pleasure of the spirit of the pyramids. This is a need that is not pure. The more money you have, you lose your right. “
He continued: “The news leak that Ramadan spoke about did not come from the Al-Ahly club, perhaps from people close to him or the Pyramids club.”
He added: “Ramadan accused me of not being credible and I made statements attacking the Al-Ahly administration, but I am ready to stand up to him, and I saw a lot of contradiction in the player’s speech, and here is a stop, oh Ramadan.”
Schubert recounted the crises of Ramadan in recent times, putting his finger to his mouth and demanding silence from the Al-Ahly fans, and not speaking of his club, which rose within its walls during its Pyramids presentation.
He finished his remarks: “I received a call from Sherif Ikrami blaming me for criticizing Ramadan Subhi, and the player appeared in the media today for flirting with Al-Ahly fans angry only at him.”
