The General Administration of Saudi Passports clarified today, Friday, the details of the Awda initiative launched by the Ministry of the Interior, for those who want regular foreign residents who have a “departure and return, final departure and all kinds of visits visa, and tourism “, declaring that Egypt is among the countries that citizens have been allowed to travel.
Saudi passports confirmed on Twitter today that visa holders (departure and return, final departure and all types of visits and tourism) can send requests for return to their countries electronically through the Absher platform.
The official Saudi Passport account explained the steps to submit a refund request.
The Passport Department said: “One of the conditions for the return initiative, according to the Saudi Arabian Passports, is that the applicant must have a fingerprint in the system, the presence of a valid visa for the applicant and the existence of a valid passport for the applicant, as well as the absence of a security note on the applicant, and that the destination is from the countries covered by the initiative.
The Passport Department stated that the countries currently benefiting from the Awda initiative are: (Egypt, the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan).
