The meteorological authority also clarified that moderate winds are active in northern Upper Egypt and southern Sinai, explaining that there are opportunities for moderate rains to fall on the eastern coasts (Damietta to Arish) and also in areas north and south of the Sinai, which can reach the extent of the torrents in north and central Sinai, and the opportunity for light to medium rain (Zafarana, Ras Gharib, and Qusair).
As for Cairo, after having witnessed rains of varying intensity from yesterday until 3 in the morning this morning, it spread to areas of northern Upper Egypt, and today the marked improvement in weather begins.

The meteorological authority also expects a warm climate to prevail in northern Upper Egypt and a warm climate in southern Upper Egypt, with strong winds.
Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department of the General Meteorological Authority, revealed that the country is witnessing opportunities for light and moderate rains until eight in the morning in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the canal cities in intermittent periods, and moderate rains in the regions of Damietta, Port Said, Arish, Ras Sidr and Al-Tor in intermittent periods that can reach flooding in areas of north and central Sinai.
