Al-Ahly club player Saleh Jumaa confirmed that what was reported in the recent period about his desire to cancel his contract with his team in light of his lack of participation in matches during the recent period is not true.

Jumaa said in statements to Ontime Sports that his brother Abdullah, the Zamalek player, is trying to persuade him to move to the White Castle, but stressed that merely negotiating the matter on his part is not allowed.

Saleh said: “Al-Ahly coach Rene Fyler is a professional and he wants all the players to be technically and physically prepared, and I respect him a lot because he will benefit the team and the players.”

He continued: “My contract with Al-Ahly will continue for the next two seasons, and when I left Al-Ahly for the Saudi League, I signed a blank contract in the presence of Sayed Abdel Hafeez.”

He added: “I keep my chance with the Al-Ahly club. I like to be at the Red Castle and as everyone has seen, in any situation I find them by my side, so I definitely want to continue.”

He added: “I read what is said about my firm in Zamalek, Abdullah wants me to move to Zamalek and I want to see him in Al-Ahly, I always tell him to come see what happens with you in Al-Ahly.”

He concluded: “It is not allowed to negotiate on my part with the Zamalek club, this matter is impossible to pass, and it is not correct to talk about my desire to terminate the contract with Al-Ahly, and I do not know why some of the players they talk about my wishes to stay or go. “
