The Liverpool team inflicted a crushing defeat to Arsenal at home (3-0), in the match between them on Saturday, at the top of the 30th day of the English Premier League.
Portuguese substitute Diogo Jota opened the scoring for the Reds in the 64th minute with a magnificent header.
His Egyptian compatriot, Mohamed Salah, doubled the score, in the 68th minute, after a great individual effort that sent the ball between the feet of German goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
Jota returned and scored his second personal goal for him and the third for “the Reds”, in the 82nd minute of the match, which was played at the “Emirates” stadium in the capital, London.

Liverpool raised their score after this victory, to 49 points, and advanced from seventh to fifth in the Premier League table, awaiting the results of the rest of the games in this round.
Arsenal’s balance stopped at 42 points and ranks ninth so far in the league table.
