Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah said he did not feel the pressure when taking the second penalty kick that gave his team the victory against Leeds United in the Premier League, and said he had scored from a penalty kick in the final of the Champions League.
“The game was good for us, especially because we played against a team that offered good football, and the game had a high order,” Mohamed Salah said in his comments to the channel “Skas Sports” after defeating Leeds United by 4 -3.
As for scoring the second penalty, he said: “I scored a penalty in the Champions League final, things are not difficult. Anyway, we have to be focused on all situations.”
And he went on to talk about the rival in the match, saying: “Leeds United were a difficult team and they played a good game in a great way, and they had a strong reaction every time they conceded with the goals.”
He added: “We shouldn’t have conceded 3 goals, but that was the scene of the match, and we had to react, and in the end we did a good job.”
He concluded: “I am happy with the result and we have to keep improving and try to score a lot of goals in the next matches.”
