Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, chaired the meeting of the Supreme Committee for the Management of the Emerging Coronavirus Crisis, today, Monday, through “videoconferencing” technology, in the presence of several ministers and officials.

Councilor Nader Saad, official spokesman for the Council of Ministers, said that the committee, the Corona crisis, has taken a package of new decisions, the implementation of which will begin from next week, and are as follows:

1. Celebrate funeral prayers in mosques, which have open spaces, at times other than daily prayers, reviewing these decisions as new circumstances require.

2. The resumption of the celebration of weddings in open places, in tourist and hotel establishments that have a health safety certificate, with a maximum of 300 people. The same decision applies to meetings and conferences with an attendance rate of 50% and a maximum of 150 people, and approval of the organization of cultural exhibitions, to begin with the Alexandria Book Fair. Taking place in open places, with an attendance rate of no more than 50%, with the application of precautionary measures.

3. Holding the exhibition “Welcome to the Schools”, starting on September 20, with the implementation of all precautionary measures, and will be held at the Fairgrounds, since it is an important event that parents expect to alleviate their loads.

4. The resumption of adult education activities, the reopening of literacy classes and the application of all precautionary measures.

5. The return of second-class soccer training, and the beginning of the sports and youth corps to allow the use of training and recreational pools. The requirements for opening daycare centers in youth clubs and centers, as well as open areas for events in youth clubs and centers, are also specified, with the application of all specific precautionary measures.

6. The Minister of Civil Aviation stressed during the meeting that all precautionary measures would be followed and applied at all Egyptian airports that had started operating.
