What about prices and how to pay?

1- The prices start at 480 thousand pounds, per residential unit, provided that the receipt is made after a year and a half from the date of the contract.

2 – Payment of 50 thousand pounds is required, as an advance for a serious reservation, in addition to 200 pounds as registration fees.

3- The payment is made in 12 quarterly payments at a rate of 2.5% of the price of the housing unit for each payment, starting 3 months after the ad close.

4- The rest of the price of the apartment will be paid by the mortgage financing system, for a period of 20 years, at an annual decreasing interest rate of 8%.

How to request reservations?

Applications are submitted electronically through the website www.shmff.gov.eg

By recording the reservation data and submitting the statement attached to the conditions booklet, the Ministry of Housing has established the conditions for the reservation of the housing unit, which Al-Masry Al-Youm monitors in the following report:

1 – That the person requesting the reservation is Egyptian.

2- The applicant must be at least 21 years old

3- The applicant must be fully qualified and have the right to act in accordance with the law

4- The applicant must adhere to the real estate financing system, through the initiative of the Central Bank of Egypt for middle income, for a period of up to 20 years, and that the applicant must pay the price of the apartment in cash.

5- The applicant must attach documents to the online portal proving that he is of average income, and the application is considered canceled if this application is ignored.

6- Acquisition of the brochure of conditions that includes the reservation form in the post offices of the announced cities, with the payment of the registration fees and the advance of the seriousness of the reservation.

7 – Determine the residential city you wish to obtain, and the application will be rejected if there is more than one wish on the form.
