Moroccan reports claimed that Miguel Jamondi, the Wydad coach, is considering making several changes to the formation of the team that is preparing to face Al-Ahly in the African Champions League next Friday.
Wydad is scheduled to visit Al-Ahly next Friday at Cairo Stadium, in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-final, knowing that the Egyptian team managed to win the first leg with two unanswered goals.
According to the Moroccan newspaper Al-Mukhtab, the Wydad coach seeks to reorganize the team’s formation after the modest performance he showed during the first leg that hosted the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
The Moroccan daily said that Jamondi is expected to push back Sheikh Komara into the main formation of the Moroccan team, instead of Yahya Jubran, who will return to his original position in midfield.
He also noted that Wydad’s coach can use the services of Kazadi Kasongo in the attack center instead of Gbagbo Magbe.
It should be noted that the winner of the Wydad and Al-Ahly match will face the winner of the Zamalek and Raja match in the final of the tournament scheduled for November 6.
