Tunisian press reports said on Wednesday that Tunisian international Mohamed Amin Ben Omar, a player for the Etoile du Sahel sports team, appears to be close to moving to the Egyptian League.

According to the Tunisian daily “Al-Sabah”, it seems that Ben Omar will move to the Pyramids Club, which did not miss the opportunity to sign with him.

The newspaper clarified that despite the closest Egyptian League championship to the ES Sahel player, there is a desire on the part of Esperance Sports Club of Tunisia to sign a midfielder for the Tunisian team.

And the Tunisian newspaper continued, that Esperance is trying to lure Ben Omar to join his former colleague Hamdi Naqaz, as the latter played in the ranks of the ES Sahel before moving to Zamalek in January 2018.

The name Ben Omar was associated with the move to the Egyptian League on more than one occasion, as it was in Al-Ahly’s interests before, before his name joined the Pyramids Club.

Mohammed Amin bin Omar considers himself close to leaving the star given the difficult economic conditions that the “Joya de la Costa” club is going through, in addition to the expiration of his contract next summer 2021.

It is worth noting that the Pyramids Club strengthened its ranks this summer by hiring Ahmed Fathy and Sherif Ekrami from Al-Ahly in a free transfer deal and Ramadan Subhi from Huddersfield, and finally the assignment of Palestinian international Mahmoud Wadi from team Al -Masry Al-Borseidi.
