Moroccan press reports indicated that the Raja team roster witnessed the presence of only ten Moroccan national team players before facing Zamalek in the framework of the semi-final second leg of the African Champions League competition, which is scheduled for next Sunday.
According to the Moroccan newspaper “LE 360”, Raja has only ten players on his current roster due to the number of cases infected with the Corona virus within the “Eagles” team.
The Moroccan newspaper revealed, the names now available for Zamalek’s match, starting with goalkeeper Amir Al-Haddawi, the four defense teams Fabrice Nagah, Badr Bannon, Libyan Sanad Al-Werfalli, Abdel-Ilah Madkour and Elias Al- Haddad.
The newspaper added that Raja owns the middle duo, Mohamed Zarida and Fabrice Nujoma, and the attacking duo between Malango and Ayoub Neh.
The African Football Confederation had issued an official decision to postpone the return match between Zamalek and Raja, which was scheduled for last Sunday, but the postponement was due to Corona cases within the Moroccan team.
The first leg was decided by Zamalek, with an unanswered goal, which came through Moroccan winger Ashraf Bencharki, prompting El Obeid to call for a goalless draw at least to face Al-Ahly in the final match.
