The director of investigations formed an investigation team under his supervision, which included investigative officers from the Mit Ghamr Center.

He said: «I went to my ex-fiancée’s house and asked her father to give me all the gifts that he had brought her during the engagement, after breaking the engagement, then he kicked me out of his house, so I went to a area near his workplace and waited for him as he returned from work and hit him with a Sudanese hoop several times from behind in revenge until he fell. Soaked in blood, I left him and ran away and then I found out about his death in the hospital. ”

He added: “I didn’t want to kill him. He was taking revenge for my dignity and because he laughed at me and refused to give me gifts and kicked me out of his house.”

A report on the incident was released and forwarded to the Public Ministry for investigation.
