According to the Spanish newspaper “AS”, the idea of ​​playing the second leg, which will bring Real Madrid and Atalanta together in the Whites’ field, at the Bernabéu stadium is totally ruled out.

Although the Santiago Bernabéu stadium is in good condition to play, repairs are still being made to the stadium to expand its capacity, the newspaper said.

The Spanish newspaper indicated that the return match will be played at the “Alfredo Di Stefano” stadium, as is natural, like any match that Real Madrid plays at this stadium.

The newspaper confirmed that while the return of the fans is still prohibited by the Sports Authority in Spain, in addition to the fact that the European Football Federation (UEFA) allowed the presence of a small number of fans due to the conditions of the Corona virus, the white team will play their matches on the field of the “Alfredo Di Stefano” stadium.

It should be noted that Real Madrid will play the first leg of the 16th round of the Champions League on February 24 at the Atalanta Stadium, and the second leg will be played at “Alfredo Di Stefano” field on March 16.
