The maximum temperature in Cairo and Lower Egypt is 36 degrees, while it reaches 40 degrees in southern Upper Egypt.
The authority said the country will witness a notable drop in temperatures in most parts on Saturday and Sunday (the second and third day of Ramadan) with values ranging between 9 and 10 degrees Celsius.
The authority noted that the chances of rain falling from light to moderate on the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, the cities of the Canal and Sinai.
The temperature in Cairo and Lower Egypt will drop to 25 degrees, while it will drop to 33 degrees in southern Upper Egypt.
