Amr Bassiouni, contract director at Pyramids Club, declined to disclose the financial value of the contractual agreement with Ramadan Sobhi, captain of the Egyptian Olympic team, from Huddersfield, England, during the current summer’s transfers.

Bassiouni told “Ontime Sports 2”: “We hired Ramadan Sobhi for five seasons, and I cannot reveal the value of the deal because there is a clause in the contract that prevents us from disclosing contractual matters.”

He added: “I would just say that the Pyramids offer was the lowest financial offer from an Egyptian club that reached Huddersfield by a wide margin.”

He explained: “The largest offer that came to Huddersfield was from Zamalek for 3.6 million pounds, then Al-Ahly for 3.25 million pounds, and the offer from the Pyramids was much less than those offers.”

He continued: “The reason for Huddersfield’s approval of the Pyramids bid is because we did not participate in a race or auction for the player, and we officially ended the deal 48 hours ago.”

Amr Bassiouni said: “The economic factor is not limited to the pyramids. There are clubs in the Egyptian League that pay one million and 800 thousand euros per season. I am not talking about a specific club, but this is not present in the pyramids.”
