President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued Law No. 176 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of the Law that Regulates Certain Conditions and Procedures for Litigation in Matters of Personal Status promulgated by Law No. 1 of 2000.
President Al-Sisi also issued Law No. 177 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of the Criminal Procedure Law promulgated by Law No. 150 of 1950, and Law No. 178 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of the Law of Protection of Intellectual Property Rights promulgated by Law No. 82 of 2002.
The President of the Republic also issued Law No. 179 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of the Law on Organization of Universities promulgated by Law No. 49 of 1972, and Law No. 180 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of the Law No. 113 of 1983 established by the National Tunnel Authority.
President Al-Sisi also issued Law No. 181 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of Decree-Law No. 99 of 1945 that regulates the situation under police surveillance, and Law No. 182 of 2020 that repeals the exemption established on the product of Treasury bills and bonds or capital gains that result from the negotiation of these Income tax bills and bonds.
President Al-Sisi also issued Law No. 183 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of Law No. 123 of 2014 on Zakat and the House of Charity.
The laws were published in the Official Gazette.
