Portugal came back from a goal to beat Luxembourg (3-1) in the match that brought them together today, Tuesday, in the third round of the European qualifying phase for the final phase of the “Qatar 2022” World Cup.

Portugal raised their score after this victory to 7 points to top the Group A list, beating Serbia on goal difference, which in turn beat their Azerbaijani host by two goals to one.
Meanwhile, Luxembourg remained in third place with 4 points, followed by Azerbaijan and Ireland, in fourth and fifth place, respectively, with no points, and each of the three teams played two games.
