French coach Patrice Carteron, the coach of the Saudi Cooperation Team, has tested positive for the Corona virus.

The Saudi daily Al-Jazeera revealed that the Frenchman Carteron was infected with the new Corona virus, in addition to the quadruple of the cooperating team, goalkeeper Casio, defender Iago, Ibrahim Al-Zubaidi and Cedric Emisi.

Carteron will not be in charge of his team against Al Qadisiyah in the third round of the Saudi League.

The French coach had left Zamalek training last month after winning the African Super Championship with the White Castle at the expense of Esperance of Tunisia and the Egyptian Super at the expense of Al-Ahly with penalties.

He also reached the Egyptian national team for the semi-finals of the African Champions League after overcoming the obstacle of reigning champion Esperance.

And his departure from Zamalek training immediately hired him with Al-Taawon Club to lead the team in the AFC Champions League, but the team came out of the round of 16 at the hands of compatriot Al-Nasr.

The Saudi newspaper Al-Jazeera also revealed, on Wednesday night, that the two-win duo, Walid Abdullah and Abdulaziz Al-Dosari, were infected with the Coronavirus and will be isolated from the team until they recover.

Carteron said in press releases that his condition is stable and thanked everyone who supported him and wished him a recovery.
