The Council of Ministers, during its weekly meeting on Wednesday, chaired by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, approved a series of important decisions and decided to cancel the New Year celebrations, as part of the precautionary measures.

The government’s decisions were as follows:
– The Council of Ministers approved a bill that modifies some provisions of Law No. 70 of 1964 on documentation rights and the month. – The Council of Ministers approved the draft decision of the President to pardon the rest of the sentence for some of the convicts, on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Police and the Revolution January 25, corresponding to January 25, 2021.
– The Council of Ministers approved the request of the General Authority of Investments and Free Zones, in relation to the postponement of the application of the 15% increase in the interest rate of the projects that operate in the free zones for a period of one year, as of 01/01/2021, with the aim of seeking to reduce the burdens on investors in order to preserve employment and help projects. Overcome current circumstances related to the Coronavirus.
– The Cabinet approved the realization of an exhibition entitled Ramses and the Pharaohs’ Gold, in 5 cities of the world, during the period from November 2021 to January 2025, and the exhibition spaces include 3 locations in the United States of America, which are the Houston Museum of Natural Sciences, in Houston, Texas. And de Young Museum, San Francisco, California, Castle Hall, Boston, Massachusetts, as well as the London Exhibition Hall in London, UK, and La Felette Hall, Paris, France.
– The Prime Minister ordered the Ministers of Health and Higher Education to assign a sufficient number of hospitals for isolation, to provide the necessary treatment to those infected by the Coronavirus, as well as to provide the necessary oxygen to all hospitals, as well as to those citizens who need it.
Assign the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, in cooperation with an international institution; Restructure the ministries, bodies and their affiliated bodies, to move to the new administrative capital.
Health: 364 hospitals equipped with 35,000 internal beds, 5,000 care, 2,400 respirators and 200 new respirators are being distributed to counteract the coronavirus.
