He continued: “Mortada Mansour has the right to claim this amount again because he is the one who donated the amount through his account, and this happened before, specifically in 2004, when Mansour Al-Balawi at that time donated one million riyals, and then Mortada Mansour filed a lawsuit against the club to recover this amount after the dissolution of the Board of Directors at that time. ” “.
A former member of the Zamalek Council continued with his comments: “Mortada used to say that he did not want to transfer money through Zamalek’s account due to the debts of Mamdouh Abbas, but the latter promised Khaled Abdel Aziz, the former Sports Minister, that it would not require money. “
Hani Shukry continued her attack on Mortada Mansour, saying: “Is the team doctor’s bill allowed to exceed five million dollars? Is the city accused of wasting public money by failing to earn interest of 2 billion and 800 million dollars? pounds?”
He concluded: “It would have been better to pay the 42 million pounds to Mamdouh Abbas and benefit from the interest on the money that did not enter the club’s treasury.”
The Ministry of Youth and Sports had previously announced the suspension of the Zamalek board of directors headed by Mortada Mansour and the referral of violations to the prosecution, and the appointment of a temporary tripartite committee to manage the club’s affairs in the next term.
