He added that 495 new cases have been positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, including two foreigners, as part of the Ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which point to the death of 21 new cases.

“Mujahid” said that all registered HIV positive cases in isolation and quarantine hospitals are subject to medical care, according to guidelines from the World Health Organization.

“Mujahid” stated that the total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Friday, is 8,476 cases, including 1,945 cases that were cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 503 deaths.

In this sense, Mujahid revealed that there are a series of governorates that have registered a notable decrease in the incidence of injuries in them compared to their rates in the last two weeks, which are Damietta, South Sinai, Port Said and the Red Sea. , due to the awareness of citizens and their commitment to preventive measures, while the rate of injury occurrence increased from its rates during the same period in other provinces, due to non-compliance by citizens of these provinces with preventive measures .

Mujahid emphasized the need to adhere to social separation, reduce contact and adhere to preventive measures, in addition to drinking plenty of fluids in the period between iftar and suhoor, and ensuring a healthy diet that strengthens the immune system, calling on citizens , especially during the last two weeks of the holy month of Ramadan, before Eid Al Fitr. The need to modify the behaviors to which we are accustomed, not wasting going out to the store, reducing meetings, and when necessary, all precautions should be taken, wear masks, constantly wash your hands or rub them with alcohol, to reduce the possibilities of infection with the virus.
