The investigations received by the Prosecutor’s Office revealed the details of the fact, and that the husband is 17 years old and the wife 16, and because they did not reach the age of majority, they were married under a customary marriage less than a month ago with a contract in the office of a lawyer with knowledge of their families, until they reached the age of majority, and then they were formally married.

A fight broke out between the spouses only 24 hours after the wife returned to the conjugal home and reconciled between her and her husband, so the husband’s mother, with whom they lived with her, intervened to prevent the matter from escalating again , but the bride ran to the kitchen and took a knife to defend herself, and with tugs and tugs her mother-in-law was injured. In the head, the wife was in a state of panic when she saw blood gush out of her mother-in-law’s head, believing that he had killed her, so she decided to jump from the balcony of the 4th floor apartment, and the husband tried to stop her, for which she pushed him away and he jumped to the ground like a lifeless body in a pool of blood. He returned to his apartment and continued to jump from the same balcony, repeating “I will not live without you”, to fall, too, next to his wife.

Ambulances transported the couple to Al-Haram Hospital, where it was found that the girl died with fractures in various parts of the body and was crushed in the skull, while the husband was still alive and suffered separate fractures.
