Magdy Abdel Ghani, president of the Professional Players Association, denied his lack of support for Moamen Zakaria, former Al-Ahly player, in the face of the health crisis he is suffering, and stressed that the association is the first party that moves to support clubs and players.
Magdy Abdel-Ghani confirmed, through his personal account on the social network site “Twitter”, this Tuesday, that Ahmed Hossam Mido, the host of the “costumes” program on the “Al-Nahar” channel, generated controversy over the matter without investigating the veracity.

You read, as usual, controversial, but without a thorough investigation, which is basically a thousand media B, with 100% incorrect accusations, about the failure of the Professional Players Association to face the player’s health crisis professional “May God heal and recover” Moamen Zakaria, the star of Al-Ahly and the Egyptian team.
We would like to point out:
First: The Players Association did not stop providing “moral” support to the believer in Zakaria, which is the most important thing the player needs since the announcement of his health crisis, and followed with interest all the movements of the management of Al- Ahly Club and the Ministry of Youth and Sports and His Excellency the Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, President of the General Authority of Entertainment of Saudi Arabia, To financially support the player and supervise his treatment and evolution in the next stage and in the last months.
Second: The Players Association is only waiting for the player’s treatment situation to be resolved if, for example, a surgical operation is indicated or another step is taken to be financially present and provide what the player needs immediately, which is not it is clear and it has not been announced neither by the player nor by the Al-Ahly club, and therefore does not come out to financially support the player.
Third: The lack of monitoring of the activities of the association is a clear and serious problem regarding the statements of Ahmed Hossam Mido, since he does not know that the association was the first party that moved to financially support all the clubs in the periodicals of the second, third and fourth sections under the umbrella of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and contributed to solving many problems and exercising its community function when stopped. Activity due to the Corona virus, as well as financially contributing to players having major surgeries once the matter is medically resolved for any infected player.
This is a small summary, but it is enough to answer a series of incorrect statements that were repeated by Ahmed Hossam Mido, to whom we wish success in his media career.
