Officially, Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, asked Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, to stop the punishment of the Olympic Committee.

The Olympic Committee had issued its decisions to sanction Mortada Mansour preventing her from practicing any sporting activity for a period of four years, as well as not representing the Zamalek Club before the judiciary, not attending any meeting of the White Club’s board of directors, and not counting your signature on any correspondence and financial transactions related to White Castle.

Mansour said in the official memorandum sent by the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Executive Director of the Ministry and the Department of Legal Affairs that the punishment is a flagrant challenge to the text of article 13 of the texts of the Constitution and Law 71 of 2017 , as well as the provisions of the Supreme Administrative Court, and limits the legislative authority of “Parliament” and the lack of observance of the constitution and the law.

Mortada Mansour stated in her speech that the decisions of the Olympic Committee are a dangerous precedent without parallel in the history of Egyptian and international sports, after the members of the Olympic Committee were misled for being above the law, the constitution and the judiciary, after ignoring the provisions of the constitution and the law.

Mansour also indicated that the Olympic Committee received a letter from the House of Representatives on October 4, warning them not to take any punishment or action against him without the permission of the House of Representatives.

Murtaza Mansour demanded the suspension of these decisions and the consequences of not being represented before others and before the judiciary, without assuming the presidency of any meeting and without counting his signature.

Zamalek are preparing to play an important match against Moroccan Raja on October 18, in the first leg of the semi-final of the African Champions League, and the team had drawn negatively with Wadi Degla on Thursday night, to become the second place threatened by Pyramids.
