Petso Mosimane, the new coach of the Al-Ahly club, announced that Kavin Johnson, former coach of the Black Leopards club, has joined the team’s coaching staff.
Betsu Musimani issued an official statement, confirming that her technical apparatus at the Al-Ahly club was completed following the addition of Kavin Johnson as the team’s general coach alongside Capello Ranguja, the load chart, and Musa Matlpa, the performance analyst.
Musimane said: “Caffeine is one of the coaches who has experience, and he had a role in the development of soccer in South Africa.”
He added: “According to the certificates he has from the African Football Confederation, a training certificate from the South African Confederation, the Brazilian Football Academy, courses from the English Federation and a diploma in sports management, he has what we need to achieve our objectives”.
He continued: “Former Platinum Stars and Super Sport coach and first assistant to Mamelodi Sundowns has agreed to come from his home country to join me here.”
He concluded: “I would like to thank Al-Ahly for allowing me to form the coaching staff that I believe will help us complete the championship victory for the club.”
Musimani indicated that Caffeine will arrive in Cairo this week and will be introduced to the team later.
