The Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria has succeeded in formally recruiting the duo Al-Ahly Ammar Hamdi and Karim Yahya, under the management plan to strengthen the team’s ranks with strong agreements during the ongoing summer transfers in preparation for the new season.

According to the official website of the federation, it confirmed that the Alexandria Club Board of Directors headed by Mohamed Moselhy completed the procedures for the transfer of Ammar Hamdi, a player for Al-Ahly and the Olympic team, and one of the most outstanding talents of the Egyptian football for two seasons yielded to the ranks of the “gap leader”, starting from the next season 2020-2021.

He explained that the Al-Ittihad Club’s decision to negotiate with Ammar Hamdi came after the administration ended negotiations with Mahmoud Al-Khatib, Al-Ahly chairman, Amir Tawfiq, director of contracts and the planning committee in the Red Castle, with the participation of Ibrahim Hassan, football director of the Alexandria club, who negotiated with the player and his agent, Ahmed Yahya.

Ammar Hamdy is one of the most talented players in Egyptian football, at the age of 21, and played on loan for Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria the previous season.

The Alexandria Union Board of Directors managed to hire Karim Yahya, former Al-Ahly defender, also for two seasons, to defend the colors of the “leader of the gap”, starting in the new 2020-2021 season.

Alexandria’s Al-Ittihad club had previously signed with Hossam Ashour, former Al-Ahly captain, for two seasons, and Nour El-Sayed, former player for Zamalek and El-Gouna, as part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming season.
