The Labor Ministry issued a statement warning about some fraudulent methods that some people are planning regarding the disbursement of an irregular employment grant of 500 pounds, in addition to fake news on fake and fake pages on social media.
The ministry revealed, in its statement today, that it had received a complaint through the government complaint portal from a citizen who presented his exposure to fraud from a person who called him on the phone claiming that it was from the Ministry of Manpower in – contrary to the truth – and asked him to transfer funds to different phone numbers in the amount of 3340. EGP to complete the disbursement process and give him the unspent amounts of the grant.
The Ministry asks citizens not to be attracted by any of these complaints and fraud methods, and any data published on the false pages, which publish some false data and news that do not affect the truth, noting that the Ministry publishes its official data through the official website of the Ministry www.manpower.gov. for example, their official page on the social networking site “facebook” with the name “Egyptian Ministry of Manpower” and bears the blue verification badge as an approved official page.
