The Moroccan club Raja Casablanca informed the Zamalek club leaders of the team’s arrival date in Cairo to play the second leg of the semi-final second leg of the African Champions League competition.
The Yallakora correspondent reported that the Al-Raja Club informed Zamalek officials that the team will arrive next Monday night in a private plane to play the second leg scheduled for next Wednesday at the “Cairo Stadium”.
The African Football Confederation (CAF) announced on Friday that the return match will be played on November 4 at the Cairo Stadium after the match was scheduled for last Saturday.
The last period witnessed a crisis within the Moroccan team as a result of the infection of (14 players) with the new Corona virus (Covid 19), so the Moroccan authorities decided to prevent the team from leaving for Cairo.
“K”, in turn, decided to postpone the game to the first of November and then to the fourth of the same month to make the second leg. On the other hand, the African Union also decided to modify the final date to be celebrated on the 27th of this month instead of November 6.
Zamalek had decided the first leg in his favor by winning with an unanswered goal in a match held at the “Mohammed V” stadium in Casablanca.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly reserved the qualifying card for the final match after defeating Wydad Casablanca of Morocco (5-1) in both matches, home and away.
